  Here is an opportunity for you to discover the secrets of how our area, often described as one of the most beautiful in the northwest region, was carved out by glaciers and the impending flooding which left its imprint still visible today.   Scientist and lecturer Bruce Bjornstad will give his viewpoints as outlined in his guide book "On the Traile of the Ice Age Floods - The Northern Reaches".  Witness a 45-minutes slide lecture on Friday, May 31, at the Wenatchee Valley Museum, the evening before the Apple Century Bike Ride, or a social hour the following day, from 1-3PM at the Powerhouse Coffee Company on Wenatchee Ave.  There will be a book signing during both day's events.
